Kaden Lake and Liam Ash, located in the heart of downtown Bardstown, Kentucky, recently dubbed "Most Beautiful Small Town in America" by PBS. Founded by Will and Alicia Hardy, they built Bardstown Emporiums to offer an elevated ambiance for shopping, sipping, snacking, and staying in the charming Bourbon Capital of the World. You can also see them on Max or Discovery + on the Show "In with the Old." They are featured on Season 6 episode 3 renovating the Old Deatsville Inn.

Meet the Founders

Will & Alicia Hardy, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, made Bardstown their second home. Will's roots trace back to Bullitt County, where he was born and raised. Two years ago, with their partners, they embarked on the exciting project of renovating the old Holiday Inn into the luxurious Trail Hotel. Leaving behind a son in college, they now raise three teens in beautiful Bardstown while running a curated boutique, cocktail lounge, and luxury Airbnb, The Full Proof Penthouse. You can also watch them renovate the Old Deatsville Inn on Max or Discovery+ on the show, "In With the Old," Season 6 Episode 3.

The Journey

The decision to make Bardstown their permanent home was inspired by the welcoming and warm community they encountered. The transition from the hustle and bustle of city life to the quintessential Mayberry-like atmosphere in Bardstown was fueled by a desire for a slower pace and more meaningful connections with their neighbors. The opportunity to purchase the corner building on Flaget & Third Street led to the birth of Bardstown Emporiums, where Alicia's dream of owning a curated apparel and gift boutique and Will's vision of a cocktail emporium became a reality.
